Step-by-Step Installation Guide #
Step 1: Visit the Shopify App Store #
Go to the official app store: https://apps.shopify.com
Step 2: Search for “Popgenix” #
In the search bar, type:
Popgenix – Pop Ups & Banners
Click on the app from the search results.
Step 3: Click “Add App.” #
You’ll be redirected to Shopify.
- Click “Add app.”
- Review and approve the requested permissions to continue
Step 4: Enable the App Embed in Your Theme #
To display the announcement bars or countdown timers, Shopify requires manual activation in your theme settings.
Follow these steps:
- Go to Online Store > Themes
- Click Customize on your current theme
- In the left panel, scroll down and click on App Embeds
- Toggle Popgenix to ON
- Click Save in the top-right corner
⚠️ If you skip this step, Popgenix will not appear on your live storefront.
